GET TO KNOW ABBIE

STARTING ALL ROAD TRIPS WITH A HOT COFFEE, A POETRY BOOK IN HAND, AND A KILLER PLAYLIST.

It is my honour to capture your story. Every photograph I take is rooted in intentionality: a blend of photojournalism and intimacy. Whether you feel drawn to the natural or the spectacular, the alluring or the simple, your images will feel real, raw, romantic and timeless.

Frederick Buechner once wrote, “You can survive on your own; you can grow strong on your own; you can prevail on your own; but you cannot become human on your own.”

I was raised in international ministry and immersed in other cultures at an early age. These experiences helped shape my eye for nuance and heart for humanity. I believe in fostering authentic conversations, leading with grace. I am drawn to the light in others and intrigued by the shadows they hide. We are more than moments— we are memory, complexity, and connection.

This love for celebrating humanity so effortlessly transitioned into photography. I am dedicated to discovering the emotions that reside within you. I strive to create a space where the intimacy of you is safely conveyed, your love languages celebrated, and your feelings are organically captured from the inside out. Together, we will create an authentic, everlasting imprint of the beauty of your season.

MY VISION

& APPROACH

documenting moments, as they are

I take a journalistic, non-scripted approach to projects— capturing raw moments and emotions to tell the most compelling story.

"Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean."

-JOHN MUIR

coffee, a love language.

I once told a friend she was the coffee to my PNW heart.

coffee dates are one of my all-time favourite activities—

  • steal a friend or stranger
  • order a coffee
  • take a long drive, walk miles upon miles on city streets, or cozy up in a chair
  • listen, share, and engage for hours on end.

I love learning about people and what makes them tick. I want to listen to your stories, to ask questions, to learn about the real you. I encourage you to invite someone to coffee, and learn about their soul in a true Pacific Northwest fashion.
